The Hill Country Project provides education support for the local Benton County school district, in addition to capturing for over 25 years the first person narratives of sharecroppers, teachers, students and activists in the Civil Rights Movement in Benton County, Mississippi.  These generational stories presented in the forthcoming University of Mississippi Press book publication in July, 2020 tell the story of struggles for a better life, a more equitable community, and a more just world.  Help keep the struggle alive for the next generation by donating towards the Hill Country Project's Scholarship Fund.
